The Detroit Pistons are back in action this year
after dethroning the Lakers in the NBA Finals in 2004. The Detroit
GM made some key trades to start off the season that look to be very
good trades right now but time will tell. Chauncey Billups and
Tayshaun Prince were traded for Marko Jaric and upcoming star Corey
Maggette. The Pistons GM was eager to trade Prince so this looked to
be a very good deal for the team. As of now the Pistons are 10-5 and
find themselves out of first by only a half game. They have one less
win than the much improved Cleveland Cavaliers. Another notable
trade sent the solid bench player Antonio McDyess to Philadelphia in
exchange for veterans Jim Jackson and Kevin Ollie. Ben Wallace is
certainly the Pistons MVP so far this year as he has averaged a
double double to go along with his 3.5 Blocks per game, 3.8 Assists
per game, and 2.1 steals per game. Look for the Pistons to have a
chance to repeat this year.

::Rookie Spotlight:: |
Chris Duhon-PG-#22
 Chris
Duhon is a very solid PG. With the recent trade of Chauncey Billup,
Duhon could be seeing the court some more. Look for him to put up
some numbers while he's out there and become a fan favorite.
